Prattville – Two accidents took place within two hours of each other on Monday night in Prattville. Rain has been almost non-stop since Friday and streets are soaked and slippery. The wet roadways most likely were a contributor in both accidents.
The first two-car accident happened at about 6:45 p.m., on McQueen Smith near the intersection of Cobbs Ford Road. The scene was cleared up within forty five minutes and at least one of the cars was towed away.
At approximately 8:00 p.m, the corner of Cobbs Ford Road and U. S. Highway 82 became the location for the second accident. Police were directing motorists at the busy intersection and a truck had to be towed from the scene. There were no apparent injuries in either accident.
