Prattville – Fair goers gathered Tuesday night, as the 41st annual Autauga County Fair opened in Prattville. An estimated 1,500 people were on hand to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
The festivities included dance routines from Centre for Performing Arts and the Money Machine, an enclosed booth filled with flying cash where the participants attempt to rake in as much money as possible in the alloted time.
This years fair features an expanded midway with new rides presented by Dixieland Carnival Company of Phenix City AL.
The Fair is being held September 23-27, 2008 at Mac Gray Park located on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive across from the Jr High School in Prattville, Alabama.
Admission is $3.00 for ages 4 and up. Gates will open Wednesday thru Friday at 6 PM to 10 PM; Saturday at 1 PM to 10 PM. Youths are admitted free on Thursday September 25th from open until close. Thursday 6 PM to 10 PM and Saturday 1 PM to 5 PM ride all rides for $16.00.
