Prattville – The work on the second phase of the Creekwalk revitalization project appears to be finished except for the lighting fixtures.
When Our Prattville last reported on this project, Richard Campbell of Alabama Design Construction in Montgomery told us that they were experiencing two delays; one with the fencing and the other with the light poles.
Campbell mentioned that the light fixtures are custom made and had to be ordered, so perhaps that is taking a little longer than expected.
When the platform is finished one will be able to get to it from the Creekwalk area and from the Bridge Street area. Through the tall railings from the platform one can view the flowing waters of Autauga Creek and also see where Daniel Pratt built his historic cotton gin.
