Prattville – Over forty vendors exhibited and sold their wares during the first day of the 2008 Prattville Mistletoe Market. On the front lawn of the Doster Community Center, Fat Boy’s barbecue and boiled and roasted peanuts were available.
Inside the Doster Center, booths were set up exhibiting a wide variety of merchandise; antiques, toys, Christmas items, and homemade goodies, just to name a few. Carol Brooks, Turtle Too, and Mick’s Cajun Café were among the many vendors.
Also represented was the Autauga County Heritage Association, with two of their volunteers manning the booth, Boo Rogers and Nadine Thompson. Mrs. Thompson said that Robin Hughes runs the association.
The Mistletoe Market will continue until 8:00 p.m. tonight. Tomorrow’s hours are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $4.00 at the door ($2.00 for ages 12 and under).
