Prattville – The Prattville-Autauga Humane Shelter has an immediate need for donations in the amount of $9,000.00 to be used to purchase a new heating system. Although several small heaters are providing heat, this is a temporary fix at best with temperatures falling to freezing especially during these cold winter nights.

Shelter volunteers will be at Bass Pro Shops in Prattville December 21, 22, and 23, from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM each day wrapping for customers and accepting donations.

Contributions can also be made online at www.autaugahumanesociety.com, mailed to PAHS, P. O. Box 680697, Prattville, Alabama, 36068, or delivered to the shelter located at 1009 Reuben Road, just off County Road 4 in Prattville. The shelter is open to the public 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday.

If you are still looking for that perfect Christmas gift for the person who has everything, consider making a donation in their name/honor for this project.
