Prattville – The city of Prattville’s Christmas parade was held on Saturday afternoon at 4:00. Hundreds of spectators lined both sides of West Main Street and they were treated to a variety of floats, the Prattville High School marching band, Miss Fountain City, and even Santa Claus paid a visit.
Mayor Jim Byard and his wife tossed beads to the crowd while an assortment of wrapped candies were thrown by parade participants.
Ray C. Scott, founder of Bass Anglers Sportsman Society, was the Grand Marshall as this year’s theme was “Christmas in the Great Outdoors.”
