Prattville – Under the direction of Alabama Governor Bob Riley, flags at all City facilities will be flown at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday, November 10, as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives in the shooting spree at Fort Hood which occurred on November 5.

“The citizens of Prattville join me as we grieve and pray for the victims and families of this tragedy,” said Mayor Jim Byard Jr. “As we begin Military Appreciation Week, this incident once again reminds us that freedom is not free.”
