Prattville – After approximately 3 inches of snowball on Friday, Prattville may experience yet another white winter wonderland in the same weekend.

The Autauga County EMA announced at 2:00 PM today that there is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for the area, including the cities of Prattville, Selma, Wetumpka, and Montgomery, from 11:00 PM Sunday until noon on Monday. Snowfall of 1 to 1 ½ inches is possible.

The event is expected to begin as rain overnight, then a change over to snow is expected as colder temperatures settle across the area after midnight, according to the National Weather Service in Birmingham.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow may cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution when driving.
