Prattville – During these insecure economic times, families are attempting to stretch the dollar and not their budget. On many occasions the costs dictate whether or not a family of four or more can dine at a particular eatery. Our Prattville found a few local restaurants offering meal specials as a way of coping with these tough financial woes and making eating out a bit easier to swallow.

O’Charley’s restaurant at 2301 Cobbs Ford Road now offers two meals for $14.99 every Monday-Wednesday. Nearby is Steak ‘n Shake with a sign indicating that 4 meals under $4 are sold there with an additional goodie – all hand-dipped shakes and drinks are ½ price Monday-Friday from 2-4 p.m.

Across the street in the Prattville Town Center, two people can eat for $13.99 at Logan’s Roadhouse and special kids meals are just $2.99. In that same area, “Moe’s Burrito Bailout” offers specials on burritos; $3.99 for a junior burrito “bailout” and $4.99 on any “bailout bundle” which includes a regular drink.
