Prattville – The streets of downtown Prattville were inundated with fans Saturday night welcoming their team home after a hard fought victory in Birmingham.
The Prattville Lions won their third consecutive 6A State Championship, beating Hoover 16-13.
Toilet paper was strewn throughout the W. Main street area leaving a winter-like appearance in its wake. Mayor Byard had a hand in the festivities which he authorized for a third straight year.
The Lions finished the regular season 12-1, losing only to St. Xavier High School of Cincinnati, Ohio, 15-10.
