Prattville – Enduring humid summer-like temperatures, WSFA Chief Meteorologist Rich Thomas broadcasted live from the Prattville City Hall earlier tonight during the 5:00 and 6:00 WSFA TV News, as part of “Weather on the Road.”

“We have been to Tallassee, Greenville, Montgomery Relay for Life, and Prattville is the last city. Next we’ll be at the Montgomery Jubilee,” Thomas said. Then Thomas laughed and added that he thought he would do this in May before it got too hot.

Mayor Jim Byard talked with Thomas on camera during the second segment. The Prattville High School Marching Band, cheerleaders, baton twirlers, and mascot performed for the television camera.

Rich Thomas can be seen weeknights during the 6:00 and 10:00 newscasts on WSFA television in the Montgomery TV market.

  1. This photo reminds me of Rubens' famous painting, "the Judgement of Paris." The three women are usually portrayed au naturel, and I'm not sure you want a graphic image of that painting here.

So, I've substituted a painting with this theme, by another artist. Hey, Paris is even holding a micropbhone!
