Prattville – Hiro Koda, owner of Club BTS (Behind the Scenes) bar and restaurant, has a long list of movie credits to his name, both as an actor, director and as a stunt performer/coordinator.

Koda has worked with many directors, producers, and actors in his performances “behind the scenes,” so to speak… thus the name of the club was born. The highly touted stunt coordinator has just completed work on Repossession Mambo and is in post-production on several other films.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1974, Koda is a member of the renowned stunt group, Stunts Unlimited, and entered the entertainment industry at the young age of twelve.

Koda’s new club/restaurant is due to open on Cobbs Ford Road. sometime next month. “Actually, we’re shooting for the first of August to open,” manager of Club BTS, Bobby Cox stated. “At first our hours will be from 4:00 PM until 2:00 AM seven days a week. We may think about having lunch hours in the future,” he added.

Sharing his name with the Atlanta Braves baseball manager, Bobby Cox is Koda’s brother and his favorite team is his hometown Chicago Cubs. When asked why they chose this Prattville location for the club, Cox replied, “The people here in Prattville are very friendly. This is a great location with good traffic flow.” Cox is currently living in Montgomery, but will soon be relocating to Prattville.

The liquor license for the club/restaurant is in the works and will be addressed in the Prattville City Council meeting on July 21.
