Prattville – Many events will be held to emphasize the Summer Reading Program at the Prattville Public Library.
Events in June are:
Every Monday – Adult brown bag lunch 12:00-1:00 PM. Topics each Monday are: Story of quilts and their patterns; Keeping your car healthy; Homeschooling 101; Prattville K9 Unit; and TBA.
June 2 – Pre K-1st grade story time 10:00 AM; 2nd-5th grade story time 11:15 AM – Special guest reader is Councilman Dean Argo for both events; PAWS reading dogs K-5th grade 1:00-2:00 PM.
June 3 – Teen Coffee House 1:30-2:30 PM; PAWS reading dogs K-5th grade 1:00-2:00 PM.
June 4 – Dairy cow 1:30 PM for all ages.
June 9 – Lt. Wayne & Louie Police K9 Unit 10:00 AM for all ages.
June 10 – Teen Coffee House 1:30-2:30 PM; PAWS reading dogs K-5th grade 1:00-2:00 PM.
June 11 – Movie Day 1:00-3:00 PM, Spiderwick Chronicles.
June 16 – Juggle Well Show 10:30 AM at the Doster Center for all ages; Teen Juggling Workshop 1:30 PM at the Doster Center; PAWS reading dogs K-5th grade 1:00-2:00 PM.
June 17 – Teen Coffee House 1:30-2:30 PM; PAWS reading dogs K-5th grade 1:00-2:00 PM.
June 18 – Movie Day 1:00-3:00 PM, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
June 23 – Learning Through Song 10:00 AM at the Doster Center for all ages; PAWS reading dogs K-5th grade 1:00-2:00 PM.
June 24 – Russell Davis Magic 1:00 PM for all ages at the library.
June 25 – Teen Program – Hands on Ooey Gooey Weather Experiments 1:00-3:00 PM.
June 30 – Come visit with Champ the Lion, Prattville High’s mascot, 10:00 AM for all ages; PAWS reading dogs K-5th grade 1:00-2:00 PM.
