I LOVE Petey! Mitchell, the musical prodigy who played Peter Cortlandt before Daniel, was a hard act to follow, but Daniel more than stepped into his shoes! AMC is losing a treasure… but what else is new! Almost every storyline these days sickens me, so I wouldn’t expect anything else from them.

Darn it! “All My Children” really sucks right now. Every time they get a good actor for AMC, and I really start to like that person, he/she/it goes!

Oh well. I wish Daniel the best in whatever he does. And thanks for posting this interview, I liked reading it.

I love Pete(y) and think it is a shame they might be writing him out of the script. Also I am very upset they have replaced Brianne with a new actress. Brianne WAS Colby to me.

I really appreciate the opportunity to read this interview. I was a big fan of Daniel’s from his first appearance on AMC. I commented to many how he reminded me of a young Matthew Broderick. I’d give anything if there was a Broadway show (or even TV movie) in the works for Matthew and Daniel to appear as brothers or perhaps father and son, or uncle etc….I cannot believe the way AMC writers have treated many of the AMC cast. I guess that’s “show biz” but it stinks!!! Daniel seems like a really great guy and intelligent as well and with both his feet firmly on the ground. I wish him only the very best in his life, professionally and personally. thanks for giving us the chance to read this interview. I’m in North Carolina.

I also liked the character, Pete, thanks to Daniel Kennedy’s acting. Pete and Colby should have had their love/not love relationship continued. I wiwll miss both actors/characters.

Great interview. I’ll miss him as Pete. I’m surprised they didn’t want to write for him. I’d rather see Pete, who feels like more of a legacy character being Palmer and Opal’s kid than Scott, played by this current actor.
