The Twilight Saga: New Moon (new, two screens): Romance/Thriller, show times are 4:00, 5:00, 7:00, 8:00, 9:50, and 10:45, rated PG-13 for some violence and action. Film stars Kristen Stewart, Christina Jastrzembska, and Robert Pattinson – After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family.

Couple’s Retreat: Comedy, show times are 7:05 and 9:35, rated PG-13 for sexual content and language. Film stars Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, and Faizon Love – Centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation.

A Christmas Carol (two screens): Animated, show times are 5:10, 5:40, 7:30, 8:00, and 9:50, rated PG for scary sequences and images. Film stars Jim Carrey, Steve Valentine, and Daryl Sabara – An animated retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions.

The Fourth Kind: Thriller, show time is 4:35, rated PG-13 for violent/disturbing images, some terror, thematic elements, and brief sexuality. Film stars Milla Jovovich, Will Patton, and Hakeem Kae-Kazim – Fact-based thriller involving an ongoing unsolved mystery in Alaska, where one town has seen an extraordinary number of unexplained disappearances during the past 40 years and there are accusations of a federal cover-up.

2012: Action/Drama, show times are 1:20, 3:40, 4:40, 7:00, and 8:00, rated PG-13 for intense disaster sequences and some language. Film stars John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Oliver Platt – An epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggles of the survivors.

The Blind Side (new): Drama, show times are 4:20, 7:10, and 10:00, rated PG-13 for one scene involving brief violence, drug and sexual references. Film stars Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw, and Quinton Aaron – A poor, oversized and under-educated teenager is recruited by a major football program where he is groomed into an athletically and academically successful NFL prospect.

Law-Abiding Citizen: Drama/Thriller, show times are 4:35, 7:20, and 10:00, rated R for strong bloody brutal violence and torture, a scene of rape, and pervasive language. Film stars Jamie Foxx, Gerard Butler, and Colm Meaney – An everyday guy decides to take justice into his own hands after a plea bargain sets his family’s killers free.

The Men Who Stare at Goats: Comedy, show times are 5:30, 7:40, and 9:50, rated R for language, some drug content and brief nudity. Film stars George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges, and Kevin Spacey – A reporter in Iraq might just have the story of a lifetime when he meets a guy who claims to be a former member of the U.S. Army’s First Earth Battalion, a unit that employs paranormal powers in their missions.

Paranormal Activity: Horror, show times are 5:35, 7:45, and 9:55, rated R for gore and language. Film stars Katie Featherston, Micah Sloat, and Mark Fredrichs – After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban “starter” house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic, but is certainly most active in the middle of the night.

Planet 51 (new): Adventure/Animated, show times are 4:35, 7:05, and 9:30, rated PG for mild sci-fi action and some suggestive humor. Film stars Dwayne Johnson, Jessica Biel, and Justin Long – An American astronaut lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first person to step foot on it … then he finds the little green people.
