The Our Prattville feline Pet of the Week is Baby Girl, an adorable, sweet Domestic Short Hair. About three months old, she is black with white markings, and has just been spayed.
A day before this photo was taken, several youngsters stopped by the shelter and played with the animals. Baby Girl was a favorite, as she was both friendly and affectionate to all of them. She’d make a great cuddle buddy and is looking forward to having a family of her own to love!
Barlo, a two-year-old neutered Australian Heeler/Shepherd mix, is the Our Prattville canine Pet of the Week. He is a medium-sized shorthaired dog, black and tan with white markings, and has a stand up bobtail.
Australian Heelers are known for their quick intelligence and high energy and Barlo is no exception. He enjoys having a large area to romp and play with balls and other toys. Barlo is an obedient pup and is working now on the sit, shake, and stay commands. He is just longing to go to his very own forever home to show off all that he has learned!
