There are two Our Prattville canine Pets of the Week and both came to the shelter from the same home. The owner, unfortunately, could no longer afford these beautiful animals.
It would be wonderful if these two pups could be adopted together by a special family since they are accustomed to living together. Both Dottie and Lunar are up to date on shots including rabies, are spayed, and love to be around children and other dogs.
Dottie is a precious female Poodle/Terrier mix who prefers the comfort of the indoors to outdoor play, but is leash trained so that she can take walks with her master. This loving little one is about four years old and is white with black spots and speckles.
A Sheltie/Rottweiler mix, Lunar is a three-year-old female with a silky black and brown coat and a bit of white underneath her neck. Loyal and protective of those special to her, Lunar would definitely make a good guard dog for the home.
The Our Prattville feline Pet of the Week is Blossom, a female Domestic Long Hair who was also brought to the shelter by an owner who could no longer take care of her.
This friendly and affectionate kitty has soft, luxurious fur and gorgeous green eyes. Blossom adores being held and stroked and longs to snuggle close to her own special someone!
