This week’s feline Pet of the Week is Pumpkin, a handsome male orange striped Domestic Short Hair. Pumpkin loves to play and adores using the big scratching post at the shelter.
This 7-8 month old was brought in as a stray and his friends at the shelter soon found him to be a sweet, gentle kitty. Pumpkin is also known for his loud purring and ear kisses and is anxiously awaiting that special someone to love!
Gabby, a kind-faced female, wire-haired Terrier/Airedale mix, is this week’s canine Pet of the Week. This medium size, fully grown, adorable pup is approximately a year and a half old.
Gabby’s two goals right now are playing with her canine pals at the shelter and working on becoming leash-trained. After her initial shyness, prepare to become overwhelmed by those irresistibly engaging big brown eyes!
For more information on these pets and other animals, please contact (334) 358-2882 or visit www.autaugahumanesociety.com
The shelter will be closed on November 26 and 27 for the Thanksgiving holidays.
Publisher’s Note: We are happy to report that Pumpkin and Gabby have been adopted!
