This week’s feline Pet of the Week is a gorgeous Siamese mix that was turned in to the Prattville-Autauga Humane Shelter because the owner could no longer keep her. Approximately a year old, Simela is a charming docile cat who adores being caressed.
As are all friends at the shelter, Simela is up to date on her shots, but is probably not spayed. She loves her human friends and also delights in being with other animals. Sweet and affectionate, Simela would be so grateful to find someone to snuggle with in a forever home.
Odis is the canine Pet of the Week and this gentle giant is a Bernard/Boxer mix. His luxuriously soft coat is colored with white and brown, and the black around his eyes is akin to a raccoon’s face. In addition to his regular shots, Odis has also been treated for heartworms.
About six months old, Odis was also brought to the shelter because the owner could no longer take care of him. He just loves to play with others, whether it is the two legged or the four legged kind. He would be thrilled to be taken to a home with a yard or an area where he could romp and frolic all day.
