This week’s canine Pet of the Week is Winkle, a handsome male Boxer/Boston Terrier mix, who was turned in as a stray to the shelter. About eight months old, Winkle’s coloring is black and white, with white on his legs and feet.

Winkle loves to play outside in the shelter’s fenced play yard and his affectionate nature has made him a favorite among the volunteers there. This adorable pup is shy when first meeting someone new, but it won’t take him long at all to warm up to that special someone!

Wicket, a friendly green-eyed beauty, is this week’s feline Pet of the Week. This gentle kitty has soft grey and tan fur. He’s in good health, is litter-box trained, and has also been neutered.

Wicket is a sweet, obedient, docile animal. According to his previous owner, he gets along famously with other kitties and with children and will be eager to please his new owner!
