Booth, AL – The public is invited for an open house and volunteer appreciation celebration at White Water Camp located at 2274 Highway 82 West in Booth, Alabama.

Tours of the campgrounds, including the new John Rawlinson Conference Center will begin at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 4, followed by services at 7:00 that night in the Tabernacle (an open-air sanctuary).

Free hamburgers and hotdogs will be served.

Guest speaker for the event will be Rev. Tony Antonelli with musical entertainment provided by Frank Clem and Clemency.

White Water Camp has been a part of Autauga County for over 50 years. Located about 10 miles northwest of Prattville in the community of Booth, it is said the camp is equal distance from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and Auburn University in Auburn.

The camp is operated as a non-profit entity run by a Board of Directors and is a non-denominational Christian camp. It covers 73 acres and earlier this summer a new conference center was opened for its first overnight guests. With a meeting space for over 100, the center also has sleeping and bath facilities for 52.

In addition to the annual camp meetings, White Water Camp is home to Central Alabama Chrysalis and the facilities are available for rent by Christian groups for prayer retreats and revivals.
