Alabama and Auburn will play baseball in the MAX Capital City Classic at Riverwalk Stadium on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m.
During the first twenty-four hours after tickets went on sale, more than 400 tickets in the Executive Club Level were sold out. Box seats and lawn seats are still available.
The game marks the first time the schools will meet in a regular season, non-conference game since they met in a seven-year series at Paterson Field from 1990-1996. Alabama and Auburn met annually throughout the state during the 1980s and the 1990s.
The Tide holds a 4-3 edge over the Tigers in games played in the capital city.
Publisher’s Note: As of March 5, all tickets are sold out…except for lawn seats.
